Welcome

Who we are

We are driven by the fundamental principle embodied in the South African Constitution: "South Africa belongs to all who live in it, united in our diversity." Our mission is deeply rooted in celebrating the remarkable contributions and achievements of immigrants and refugees who have made a profound and positive impact on South African society.

As we come together to honour these outstanding individuals, we do so with a strong conviction that the values upheld in the South African Constitution resonate with our purpose. We recognize that South Africa is a nation that belongs to everyone within its borders, irrespective of their backgrounds or origins.

Our awards ceremony serves as a platform to showcase the inspiring stories of immigrants and refugees who have embraced their adopted homeland, surmounted challenges, and enriched the cultural tapestry of our nation. By acknowledging their exceptional efforts and talents, we aim to foster a greater appreciation for the diverse cultures, skills, and experiences that immigrants and refugees bring to South Africa.

Through the Alkebulan Immigrants Impact Awards, we are committed to promoting integration, inclusivity, and understanding. We seek to challenge stereotypes and misconceptions surrounding immigrants and refugees by highlighting their achievements, talents, and positive influences. By sharing their remarkable stories, we aspire to inspire others, both immigrants, refugees, and locals, to embrace diversity, collaborate, and work together for a more united and prosperous South Africa.

As we gather to celebrate visionaries, trailblazers, and change-makers, we envision an event that exemplifies the spirit of unity and Ubuntu. It is an opportunity for immigrants, refugees, and locals to come together, celebrate diversity, and build networks that transcend borders. We encourage collaboration, mentorship, and knowledge exchange among our award recipients and attendees, nurturing a supportive and interconnected community.

Join us at the Alkebulan Immigrants Impact Awards as we celebrate the remarkable journeys, achievements, and positive impacts of immigrants and refugees in South Africa. Together, let us work towards creating a society that wholeheartedly appreciates, values, and supports the diverse talents and contributions of all its members, in alignment with the principles enshrined in the South African Constitution.
